Our Family Orchard

​The McClure family has operated the farm since 1999. Over the past twenty years, we have continued to improve and expand what the farm has to offer. Though there are several activities customers can enjoy at the farm during the fall season, the orchard is the heart & soul of the operation. The trees are what defines us as an apple farm and not just another fruit stand. We currently grow & love around seven thousand trees and approximately 150 varieties of apples. These numbers continue to increase as we plant new varieties and trees each spring. Typically, we begin picking apples mid-July and finish near the end of October. Once picked, our apples are sorted and stored in a large cooler until they are sold in our stores, squeezed into sweet cider or delivered to the kitchen for baking.​​ In 2009, we ventured into hard cider and wine making. Since then, we have been creating award-winning hard ciders and wines from produce grown on site or locally. The last ten years have generated opportunities to incorporate supplemental crops to the farm – rhubarb, blackberries, raspberries, and pumpkins. All of this produce and more is waiting to be discovered in our stores. We are glad you are here & excited to share some of our space with you and yours.
